A little about glass & arrow...

Aveen Keogh is an Irish artist originally from Kilkenny. She has been teaching Design & Technology in the UK for over a decade, and originally graduated from West Wales School of Arts with a BA in Ceramic Design. Aveen's interest in arts & crafts continued after university, and she often found herself experimenting in various mediums, ranging from upholstery and woodwork to screen printing and silversmithing, always moving onto the next.

In 2020, Aveen was fortunate enough to have had the opportunity to develop her knowledge and skills in stained glass from her home studio in Bristol during lockdown and was hooked. Glass & Arrow was established the following year and her work is now being sold by the National Trust and Flourish, Bristol UK.

Cancellation policy

Most people are considerate and understand that last minute cancellations have a negative effect on a business such as preparation time/ordering of resources/loss of revenue. If I don't outline a cancellation policy I will personally suffer from the consequences. This policy is designed to reduce the last minute ‘no shows’ and to protect my business. I am very grateful for your understanding.

4 weeks in advance of your course date - I offer a full refund or one free date change.

3 weeks in advance of your course date - I offer 75% refund or one free date change.

2 weeks in advance of your course date - I offer 50% refund or one free date change.

Cancellations received with less than 2 week’s notice / no shows on the day – unfortunately no refund or date change will be offered.

* Aveen reserves all rights to cancel or postpone the workshop if full capacity is not reached.

Beagán faoi Glass & Arrow...
Is ealaíontóir Éireannach í Aveen Keogh as Cill Chainnigh ó dhúchas. Tá sí ag teagasc Dearadh & Teicneolaíocht sa RA le breis agus deich mbliana, agus bhain sí céim BA amach i nDearadh Ceirmeach ó Scoil Ealaíne Iarthar na Breataine Bige.

Lean a spéis san ealaín agus sa cheardaíocht tar éis na hollscoile, agus rinne sí turgnamh i réimsí éagsúla mar upholstaireacht, adhmadóireacht, priontáil scáileáin agus miotalóireacht bheag.

I rith na paindéime in 2020, d’fhoghlaim sí scileanna gloine dhaite óna stiúideo baile i mBristol, agus chuaigh sí i gcleithiúnas air. Bunaíodh Glass & Arrow an bhliain ina dhiaidh sin, agus tá a cuid oibre á dhíol anois ag an National Trust agus Flourish, Bristol UK.

Polasaí Cealaithe
Tuigeann formhór na ndaoine go mbíonn drochthionchar ag cealuithe in am gairid ar ghnó – amhail am ullmhúcháin, acmhainní curtha in ord, agus caillteanas ioncaim. Tá an polasaí seo i bhfeidhm chun laghdú a dhéanamh ar “neamhfheicthe” tobann agus chun mo ghnó a chosaint. Go raibh maith agat as do thuiscint.

4 seachtaine roimh ré – Aisíocaíocht iomlán nó athrú dáta amháin saor in aisce.

3 seachtaine roimh ré – 75% aisíocaíocht nó athrú dáta amháin saor in aisce.

2 seachtaine roimh ré – 50% aisíocaíocht nó athrú dáta amháin saor in aisce.

Níos lú ná 2 sheachtain roimh ré / gan teacht ar an lá – Faraor, ní thairgtear aisíocaíocht ná athrú dáta.

Tá an ceart ag Aveen an cheardlann a chur ar ceal nó a chur siar mura líonann an líon rannpháirtithe
