I really enjoyed this workshop, and I’m genuinely impressed with the Christmas star I made. Every time I look at it, it brings back good memories of the day itself, not just the finished piece.

It was a lovely occasion to spend with friends and also to meet some really nice people in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Aveen made everyone feel comfortable from the start. She explained each step clearly, was patient throughout, and never put us under pressure to rush or be perfect.

The workshop felt well organised but also calm and enjoyable, which made the whole experience even more rewarding. I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone who wants to try something creative and come away with good memories as well as something they’ve made.

I had a great second Workshop with Aveen in Kilkenny at the end of November. Aveen is a super teacher and the workshop is very well thought-out and organised. I really enjoyed immersing myself in the new craft and focusing on only that for the day. The atmosphere in the room was lovely and relaxed both times. I love my new Christmas star and am looking forward to attending further workshops in 2026.

My partner and I attended the Christmas star workshop and had a fantastic time. The class was run by Aveen who was super friendly - she broke down the process into a series of easy to follow demos and stages throughout the day and gave us great explanations of ; marking and cutting the glass, refining the shapes and assembling the pieces.

There was a great selection of coloured and textured glass so everyone taking part made something completely unique and lovely. We were delighted with our stars

We also came away with a good understanding of all the tools and techniques involved - We were even shown how to cut organic and curved shapes so we'd have the confidence to be able to try this again ourselves with other designs.

A great day - I would recommend to anyone looking to try out a new craft

I couldn’t recommend Aveen’s workshops more. I attended Aveen’s Monstera workshop in September and have just completed the Christmas Star workshop this month. I had such a brilliant experience on both occasions. Aveen is a wonderful teacher. As a complete beginner, I felt as though the day had been broken into manageable steps, all of the tools and materials were explained well and Aveen’s instructions were clear. Aveen’s love for her craft is infectious and I am so happy with my finished pieces. I hope I’m lucky enough to do more Glass and Arrow workshops in the future! Thank you Aveen!

Aveen is an absolutely amazing teacher and a wonderful woman. I attended the workshop with my Mam and Nana and we had an absolute ball. Aveen has endless patience and her warmth and energy really made a good workshop fantastic. My Nana had some difficulties with the more physically taxing parts of the day and Aveen didn't think twice about reassuring her and jumping in to help while also allowing her to keep full creative freedom over her sun catcher piece. We learned so much and I think I found a new favorite hobby to play around with at home. I will 100% be attending another one of Aveen's workshops when the chance arises . Cannot recommend this wonderful woman and her workshop enough!

I’m so glad I attended this Star of Bethlehem workshop! I love to get in the Christmas mood with festive creativity and the class was spot on. Easy to follow step by step instructions, lovely glass to choose from, festive treats during the break, and a beautiful hand made star to take home - which by the way sits in my front window year-round! This was my second class with Glass & Arrow and I’d love to book another in future. Recommended - thanks Aveen!

Cannot recommend this workshop enough! I wasn't sure what to expect but the whole day was was planned out perfectly. Aveen was so knowledgeable about stained glass and gave really clear instructions as well as some insightful facts throughout the workshop. I really enjoyed every aspect - from cutting and sanding the glass to soldering it, and then marvelling at our creations! If you are in any way interested in stained glass, book this workshop. You won't regret it!

This month I was fortunate to complete a Glass & Arrow stained glass workshop with Aveen. If you're thinking about doing one, I say go for it - you won't regret it!
The day was brilliant from start to finish. Aveen is an excellent facilitator who explains everything you need to know, breaking each task down into bitesize manageable chunks and building on our learning throughout the day. She was very safety conscious with great care given through all the demos, PPE worn and full supervision when using the various equipment.
She really has thought of everything and tailored the workshop for a beginner such as myself.
I was absolutely chuffed coming away with my beautiful monstera leaf that will hold pride of place in my home 💚

I attended Aveen's workshop in July. It was absolutely brilliant. She's so knowledgeable and explains everything so well. Very safety conscious and talked us through everything so we felt safe and comfortable with what we were doing. We made monstera leaves and they're so beautiful! Aveen gave us great advice throughout on constructing our pieces, choosing our glass and even how to take care of it once it's at home. I did this with 2 friends and it was a great way to spend a day together because it can be tricky matching up schedules so this was perfect. We could chat throughout and got to see each others creations come to life. I'd do another worship again next week!

I've just finished an amazing workshop with friends in Aveens workshop and it was incredible! I wasn't sure what to expect but everything was meticulously planned out and Aveen gave great instructions and made the whole day so fun and enjoyable. I adore my Monstera Leaf and can't believe I made it myself! Thank you so much Aveen. I can't wait to go again and make a different glass piece! I would highly recommend Aveens workshops to everyone.
